On-board storage allows photos to be stored on the hardware in the event that there is a connection issue and captured photos cannot be uploaded immediately. It provides a buffer to keep shooting during potential network dropouts or issues with a SIM card. The Timelapse X Pro comes with the option of a 64GB or 500GB industrial-SSD.

The most common option is to mount the unit to a pole nearby or on-site. Your unit will come with a pole mounting bracket, clamps and bolts.
